15 Out of focus and beautiful photos
"The perfect photograph" - Does it exist or is it just a theoretical possibility? A technically perfect photography is likely to be boring. Correct composition, correct lighting (whatever that is), perfect depth of field (I've heard one nincompoop say that f/8 is the best f-stop, always), correct shutter speed, correct focal length and distance to subject..I would say, that for a photograph to be perfect it needs to carry a message or feeling, from the photographer or the scene, to the viewer. It needs to capture the viewers attention and keep it.
Have a look at these unfocussed photos. They all carry messages and feelings that would not be there if they were perfectly sharp with lots of depth of field.
